TelLAWCom Labs Inc. was founded in 2004 by Leo A. Wrobel, a nationally-known telecommunications expert, and a number of other professionals with two things in common:  (1) A love for their profession and (2) A desire to protect the integrity of their profession even when it is not the "popular" thing to do.  We are not crazy although some days it feels close. :)

If there was one thing in Leo's career he did not expect, it was to be it's an industry crusader.  Leo is a 30 year telecom veteran and author of 12 books, including "Disaster Recovery Planning for Communications and Critical Infrastructure, (C) 2009 Artech House Books and "Business Resumption Planning Second Edition (C) 2009 Auerbach / Taylor Publishing Inc.  The first book mentioned was also the first book co-authored by his wife Sharon, his best friend of 33 years and mother of their seven children.  Leo has written over 500 trade articles, and Sharon is up to 20 or so by herself.  Run a 'google' or 'Amazon' search on Leo A. Wrobel and see.  He does a lot of other things besides knock heads with AT&T.

An active author, lecturer and technical futurist, Leo was invited by the Chinese Academy of Sciences to speak in Beijing a few months ago and got to bring Sharon along.  Click the picture to the right to see our photo album of the trip, it was a LOT of fun.  Leo has lectured in 48 of the 50 states as well as Israel, Chile, and other places.  Leo was also Mayor of the City of Ovilla www.cityofovilla.org  but says he is "better now." :)

Leo was recently elected President of the Network and Systems Professionals Association, (NaSPA) a Milwaukee based 501(c)(3) not for profit dedicated to helping IT professionals, particularly those affected by the sour economy.  Looking for a job?  Need to enhance your profession?  Check out www.naspa.com, maybe we can help.

Leo serves as an Executive Outreach Consultant for the Pacific Disaster Center, a Maui based client.  (Tough job but someone has to do it)  The PDC has an extraordinary pool of talent, huge amounts of raw data and access to a supercomputer to crunch it all and draw  informed conclusions about disasters.  Looking to locate a new factory in a coastal area?  Worried about the repurcussions of $7.00 a gallon gas if one of your refineries gets slammed by a hurricane?  Perhaps we should be talking.  For more info see www.b4ci.com, a Disaster Recovery company where Leo is also CEO.  The Pacific Disaster Center can be found at www.pdc.org.

Summary
